In south-eastern Morocco’s arid climate, grows a small and hardy tree in defiance of the dry wind that sweeps the landscape.
Argania Spinosa is one of the planet’s oldest species. Its soothing, hydrating and nourishing properties are ancient knowledge. Since ancient times the Berber women who inhabit this land have carefully harvested its fruits, to extract their precious oil which they use to protect and repair their skin and hair from the harsh climate, preserving a glowingly youthful appearance.
Argan oil is produced exclusively by women’s co-ops, which support local communities by sharing their profits with Berber women and carry out an effective reforestation program.
